Samsung Galaxy Notes, Combination of Smartphone and Tablet PC

Not enough to bring the Galaxy S II, which claimed as thinnest smartphone, Samsung has introduced a smart phone with 5.3-inch screen size that coated with Super AMOLED technology.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy Notes in IFA 2011 in Berlin, as successor of previous Android phone. Galaxy Note carries class a tablet specification on the market, but in the form of a smart phone. This can be seen from the 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280×800 with a 285ppi pixel.
Inside the Galaxy Note presents a highly qualified spec such as a 1.4 Ghz processor with dual core, 1GB RAM and 32GB or 16GB of media storage. Other features in the mobile phone that has a code name GT-i9220 is a dual camera, 8 megapixels to the rear and a 2 megapixel camera on the front.
The thickness of the Galaxy Note is 9.65mm (0:37 inches) and weighs 178 grams. While the operating system, will certainly use the services of the operating system of Google, the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

Harvard Researchers Discover Invisible Planet

Researchers from Harvard University have discovered a new planet that called invisible Planet.
A lead researcher Sarah Ballard says, the planet is actually not really invisible, but scientists at Harvard concluded its presence on the pretext of “Planet influence can exert of other planets”.
“Invisible Planet was discovered near the Lyra constellation which is located 650 light years from Earth. Then we called it Kepler 19c,” said Ballard, as quoted from The Harvard Crimson.
Kepler 19c have an irregular orbit, the planet’s rotation is completed for five minutes or more than five minutes.
“This show that other planet’s gravity could pull Kepler 19c, causing inconsistencies in length orbit. Means that Kepler 19c intimidated by the other planets,” Ballard concluded.
She said the discovery of Kepler 19c is a powerful example of the first discovery of a method that previously seemed absurd even considered just a theory.
“As already explained, the method is to see the new planet’s orbit that compared with the nearest planets. This method was used by astronomer Alexis Bouvard that identifies the Neptune 150 years ago,” said Ballard.
To be known, the discovery of Kepler 19c is part of NASA’s Kepler mission, which was launched in 2009 with the primary mission of finding alien planets throughout the galaxy.
Galaxy Xcover, Samsung’s Most Tough Android

Galaxy Skin, Phone Concept with Flexible Screen

Samsung known is developing flexible AMOLED screens that can bend. What kind of shape will the phone with a screen like this if it will really be mass produced?
A design concept mobile phone with a screen was made. Nicknamed Galaxy Skin, this handset has a thickness of only 8 mm. Flexible AMOLED screen allow the screen wrapped around the cylinder with a diameter of about 1 inch as the crease center.
Flexibility of the screen makes Galaxy Skin can change shape. Being a shells form or clamshell until seated at the table with ease.
A specification in the concept of mobile phones with Android OS includes a 1 GHz processor, 8-megapixel rear camera and VGA front camera. Its AMOLED screen has 800×480 resolution and capable of playing high definition video.
Before the Galaxy Skin, Nokia also has mobile phone concept that can be change shape. Its name is Nokia Morph.
The concept of mobile Galaxy Skin reportedly created in the Samsung’s Talent Program 2011 as quoted from Recombu. It seems, still long until this kind of mobile phones available in the market.
