Acer Aspire S7, Ultrabook Windows 8 with 1080p Resolution Touch Screen Features

In addition to showcasing Acer tablet Iconia W510 and Acer Iconia W700, Acer also showcased ultrabook that running with OS Windows 8 at the Computex 2012 event in Taipei. Ultrabook called Acer Aspire S7 is equipped with a touch screen with 1080p resolution with two different sizes, which are 13.3 inches and 11.6 inches.
Acer Aspire S7 with a wide 11.6-inch screen is Ultrabook with the world’s smallest form factor, this Ultrabook has a thickness of 12mm.
Acer Aspire S7 with a 13.3-inch screen size comes with a battery that is able to support these devices up to 12 hours, while the battery life of 11.6-inch Acer Aspire S7 is only 9 hours in normal use.
Interestingly, both models Ultrabook Acer Aspire S7 can be opened to 180 degrees. Unfortunately there is no information about the availability of this Ultrabook on the market and the price offered.
Acer Iconia Tab A510, Android Tablet ICS Quad Core with HD 10 Inch Screen

Acer introduced the Acer Iconia Tab A510 tablet powered by the latest quad-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 3. Acer quad core tablet with 10.1-inch screen will come with Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Iconia Tab A510 with Super 4-PLUS-1 Tegra 3 quad-core processor and 12-core GeForce GPU certainly will deliver performance of Android tablet that fast.
This tablet is also equipped with 1GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage capacity. Besides that Acer A510 screen is capable of displaying HD resolution of 1280 × 800 capacitive touchscreen type and offers a better sound experience with Dolby Mobile 3 technology. Because the stable processor then the tablet is also capable of playing 1080p HD video and also features a micro HDMI port for displaying video on an HDTV.

Acer Liquid Glow, Android Ice Cream Sandwich Smartphone with 3.7-inch

Acer Liquid Glow is a smartphone with Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and equipped with NFC connectivity.
Then the phone also uses the 3.7 inch screen and 5MP camera equipped with LED flash. Acer still not discloses information about other specifications.
The plans Acer Liquid Glow will be marketed in the early spring of this year with color choices of Sakura Pink, Alpine White, Black and Cat’s-eye.
Acer Introduced World’s Thinnest Ultrabook

Acer introduced Aspire S5, an ultrabook who claimed as the thinnest in the world. This ultrabook marks Acer gait on the world’s largest electronics exhibition, the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas.
S5 will be marketed starting second quarter of 2012. With 13.3 inch screen, the thinnest part on ultrabook is only as thick as 15 mm, while weighing only 1.35 kg.
According to an analyst of Creative Strategies, this laptop does look like the thinnest and lightest and become a milestone for other ultrabook vendors.
Ultrabook itself becomes the new flagship for Acer. Quoted by AFP, they promise a lot more ultrabook model to be launched.
Acer is committed to developing this technology. In the second quarter of 2012, they will have 4 models ultrabook and there will be more to come.
Acer estimate ultrabook will have a percentage of 35% of the entire Acer product that was released in 2012. Ultrabook trends which based on Microsoft Windows are predicted to spread this year.
In addition with ultrabook fellow vendors like Asus or Lenovo, Acer will compete with Apple in the segment of super-thin laptops. Apple has long been known for its super-slim laptop products, the MacBook Air.
Acer A100, First Honeycomb Tablet with 7-Inch Screen

Acer began marketing the tablet computer Iconia Tab A100. The device is the first 7-inch tablet that uses the operating system Android Honeycomb 3.2.
Indeed Honeycomb tablets currently available on average screen size are 10 inches. Call it the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola Xoom to Acer’s own products, Iconia Tab A500.
A100 is now available in the United States, then Canada and possibly to other countries. In the U.S., the tablet is priced at US$ 330 for the 8GB version and US$ 350 for the 16GB version. Both were only using a Wi-Fi.
7 inch screen at Iconia Tab A100 has 1024×600 pixel resolution. There are two cameras, 2 mega pixels camera on the front and 5 mega pixels in the back complete with LED Flash.
This compact tablet feels quite powerful, because it had been using a dual core processor 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 and 1GB of RAM. While the battery can last about 5 hours.
