Google has long been rumored to be making its own tablet computer. Predictable, tablet nicknamed Nexus was introduced at the I/O Conference which is currently underway. Specifications and pictures of this tablet is said to have been leaked.

Gizmodo claims to have documents on Google Nexus tablet. Asus tablet has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM.

Nexus tablet is expected to be sold at a cheap price of USD199 for the 8GB model and USD249 for the 16GB model.

While the operating system is not yet clear, maybe this Nexus tablets had been taking Android Jelly Bean which is the successor to the Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich.

Given the specification is quite high and sold cheap, Nexus tablet will probably not generate significant profits for Google. But if Google release this really cheap tablet, the step is considered appropriate.
