Acer began marketing the tablet computer Iconia Tab A100. The device is the first 7-inch tablet that uses the operating system Android Honeycomb 3.2.
Indeed Honeycomb tablets currently available on average screen size are 10 inches. Call it the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola Xoom to Acer’s own products, Iconia Tab A500.

A100 is now available in the United States, then Canada and possibly to other countries. In the U.S., the tablet is priced at US$ 330 for the 8GB version and US$ 350 for the 16GB version. Both were only using a Wi-Fi.

7 inch screen at Iconia Tab A100 has 1024×600 pixel resolution. There are two cameras, 2 mega pixels camera on the front and 5 mega pixels in the back complete with LED Flash.

This compact tablet feels quite powerful, because it had been using a dual core processor 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 and 1GB of RAM. While the battery can last about 5 hours.
