Galaxy S II white will be released starting next month. One of the first states to get it is French.
In addition to its white color, it seems there are no any changes in the specification sector. The handset will still bring the technology embedded in the Galaxy II black, such as dual core processors or Super AMOLED screen.
Samsung has just announced the Galaxy II has sold 5 million units worldwide so far. A figure that is quite impressive considering that Android Gingerbread phones recently launched.
Galaxy II is also not touched one of the important markets, the United States. Reportedly, local operators will begin selling it starting in August.
Nokia confirmed adopt Phone Windows 7 operating system as the mainstay. On the other hand, Qualcomm claimed was close with Microsoft to develop new phone. Does that mean Nokia will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips?
Snapdragon processor has become one of the chipset with a pretty good ability. Besides having a high performance, this product is also not greedy for power resources, thus claimed more battery saving than similar products.
No wonder then if the processor type is widely used in upper-class processors for a number of smart phones, not just Android but also on Windows Phone 7 HTC HD7. Then how about Nokia?
“Currently we are closely working with Microsoft to optimize the ability Snapdragon on Windows Phone 7 Manggo,” said Matt Grob, Senior Vice President of Engineering Qualcomm.
Many sources say the proximity of Qualcomm with Microsoft is allegedly closely associated with the development of Windows Phone 7 for Nokia. Is it true?
“Nokia is a big producer, would be delighted if we could cooperate with them, but until now there has been no discussion that leads to it,” said Grob, on Qualcomm Editors Day event, 27-28 July 2011 in San Diego, United States.
Currently the Xbox 360 not only as a console for games only. After Xbox TV officially announced by Microsoft, it seems the console has a dual role and needed a media remote that can facilitate access in using the console.
Cooperation that Microsoft is doing with Hulu and support from Netflix makes the Xbox 360 now also serves as the TV. There is clearly a dual role on console that first intended to play games.
For that created a media remote where users can regulate the use of the Xbox 360 console in accordance with their wishes. Control your Xbox using the directions and buttons A, B, X, Y to handle the basic elements of user interface display.
Remote can be used to play and watch TV because it comes with the play+pause buttons, and forward/backward to simplify the user. If the console is used to watch movies continuously, the use of media remote felt it would be better than using a gamepad.
The plan is media remote will be launched in November with a price tag of USD 19.99.
