Hewlett Packard Launched TouchPad

After a long awaited, HP TouchPad tablet will be marketed starting in early July 2011 in the land of Uncle Sam, United States. What is offered so it’s worthy reckoned with in the middle of the flood of tablet computer?
One of the characteristics contained in the TouchPad is the use of the WebOS operating system, a new OS for the tablet. What kind of performance of this software and how it chances to emulate of iOS and Android that certainly still need further tested.
This tablet has a dual core processor made by Qualcomm. The unfortunate is the lack of the rear camera facilities likes on another tablet.
According to HP, TouchPad inaugural edition will only have a Wi-Fi connection. But then, HP is also going to add 3G connectivity.

Sony Introduced PlayStation Vita

Sony finally introduced the newest generation of handheld consoles. Rumors are circulating so far proved to be correct, the gadget which was originally popular called NGP (Next Generation Portable) is now called the PlayStation Vita.
In the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event held in Los Angeles, United States, the Japanese company has also introduced a number of 3D gaming titles.
“Vita is taken from the Latin which means life,” said Sony’s PlayStation business unit boss, Kazuo Hirai, reported by AFP. He explained that the latest gadget is designed to obscure the ‘line’ between game life and real life with the presence of augmented reality technology and other features.
There are two versions of the PlayStation Vita. First, the version that only uses the Wi-Fi is priced at USD 249. While the version that equipped with 3G connectivity is priced at USD 299.
However, consumers who want to immediately have it appear to still be patient. Hirai said the PlayStation Vita will be launched in Japan, Europe and the United States end of this year.
Toshiba Thrive Enliven the Tablet PC Rivalry

Toshiba bring Android Honeycomb 3.1 tablet that will debut on the market starting next July, initially in the United States.
Toshiba Thrive with 10.1-inch size has a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Front camera with resolution of 2.1 megapixel and rear camera with 5 megapixel. Thrive sold with the cheapest version costs of US$ 429.
Reported by eWEEK on Monday (06/06/2011), the Toshiba Thrive battery is claimed to be durable to seven hours and armed by the dual core processor Nvidia Tegra 2.
Tablet market is still much dominated iPad in the first quarter of 2011 holds 74% market share. However, Toshiba still has a chance of tasting the value of sales of tablet segment.
According to research firm Strategy Analytics forecast, global revenue tablet market will reach US$ 49 billion in 2015. Markets in North America, Asia Pacific and Western Europe will be a key driver of this growth.
