Samsung admitted there is little problem in the Galaxy Tab tablet product. This problem appears when the Galaxy Tab is running a number of Android applications.

Galaxy Tab screen resolution of 1024×600 can not run multiple applications on the Android Market perfectly. Since, the relevant application can only perform at a maximum resolution of 800×400.

“If you downloaded the Android Market application to the Galaxy Tab, some applications are not scalable well (on screen),” Samsung spokesman said in a statement quoted by Computerworld.

Samsung is not sure how many applications are problematic in the Galaxy Tab. But they have been working with Google to ensure key services such as Google Maps to look perfect on Galaxy Tab screen.

These problems arise because Android is actually designed for the smartphone device. And not only affects the Galaxy Tabs, another tablet device may also have a similar problem.

For example, Hewlett Packard. They admitted that they new Android tablets which bundled with eStation PhotoSmart printer, is not compatible with the Android Market application. According to HP, most Android applications are not currently designed to 7 inches screen size.

Google Parties recently explained that in fact the Android OS was not optimized for tablet devices. Especially Android 2.2 or Froyo intended primarily for small-size screen, not as big as tablet screen.
